In 1943, soldiers and equipment from Hill Field in Ogden, Utah, came to Preston to paricipate in a parade and concert to support a bond drive to raise money for the war. Shown here is Oneida Street looking east. Foss Furniture Store is on the left (canopy). Benson Park is on the right. Military floats are lined up for the parade on the right (south) side of the street,
