In 1943, in connection with a military parade and concert, a bond drive was going on to raise money for the war effort. Shown in this picture are four Victory girls in front of the Victory house where bonds were sold. Also shown are JC Penney, Quality Bakery and Coffee Parlor, two movies: Boss of Boomtown and ____ Before the Dawn.
